One Cuddly Guy - Sheldon Goh

One of the great undiscovered talents in the comic world is Malaysian Sheldon Goh.

At the beginning of the Awesome Storm Justice 41 project, we had no idea if the project was going to be viable.

Webisode 1 and 2 were both very good. We needed a kick ass webisode to establish exactly what it was that we were trying to do with it.

I wrote a very quirky script, which needed to be handled with utmost subtlety in order to pull off properly.

Don volunteered, but was hesitent at first, because he really wanted to do a webisode that featured the team. After some cajoling, he agreed, and thank goodness he did.

I truly believe that Webisode 3 marked the first time I was comfortable, that ASJ41 would have some staying power.

In my view all Don needs is to be seen by the right people and we will have a new star on our hands.

One of ASJ41's contributors is Steve Downer. If ever there was someone on Ugga's one's to watch list, it is Steve. I think he is finally out of diapers now too. His work on an upcoming webisode is simply off the charts.

Some Long Range Awesome Storm Justice Plans

I just wanted to let everyone know of some things we are working on.

Right now, scripts are being written and compiled for the yet to be officially titled ASJ41 Origins project. We will get some insight into the origins of each of our favorite Awesome Storm Justice 41 members. It looks to be a ton of fun.

Production has not yet started beyond the script stage, so we don't yet have an ETA, we will keep you posted.

Another ASJ41 project that is in the works is Awesome Storm Justice 41 Classified. This is going to be stories involving ASJ41 members, which will not necessarily be in sync with the main title's continuity. We are hoping to get this one off the ground in the near future.

Other ASJ41 offshoots are also planned, but are too early to comment on. I will keep you apprised of developments as they occur.

Hey guys,

I asked Ugga (Steve) to let me post here, so as long as I'm here, I'd like to take a minute to talk about Jim Starlin, whom I am interviewing for Paperbackreader.com next month at Wizard World Philly.

If you don't know (cause you've been living under a rock), Starlin is one of the most important comics creators in recent memory. He broke onto the scene in the 1970's, resurrecting Marvel's Captain Marvel from obscurity by introducing Thanos and basically just kicking ass with the title. From there, he went on to re-create Adam Warlock with one of the most interesting comics' stories I've ever read (the Universal Church of Truth storyline) and then kill off Captain Marvel in the now classic Death of Captain Marvel graphic novel.

I personally became of fan of Starlin's in the late 80's when he was writing Silver Surfer, long my favorite comic, and doing the Infinity Gauntlet series. He also wrote the DC Classic Batman: A Death in the Family, where Jason Todd was killed.

howdy folks! uggs has givin me the pleasure to also get to post in this here blog. i plan on having my own set up soon for my own stuff, but till then i'll give you a few little tidbits of some of the asjay stuff i'm working on, or some of the other fine folks are working on.

here's the first little bit i'm gonna drop. a few days ago, uggs gave you all a preview of the upcoming cover to epis.. i mean webisode 1 of the saiko mini series. anyways, here's a little sketch of the cover to saiko webisode 2. enjoy!
